Our goal is to try to prevent the

All Hair Dyes and Hair Dyes
are mutagenic and carcinogenic. Even the so-called
"natural" products that use plant pigments also
have harmful chemicals. Apparently the FDA does
not regulate toxic hair dyes, although synthetic,
or chemically based, personal-care products are.
It seems hair dyes are not considered "topical" by
the FDA. What about your scalp?
