Before you begin and preparation:

Application

• Remove the suppository from its plastic shell by pulling apart the flaps on one end
• Moisten the suppository ( a few drops of water, coconut oil)
• Insert the flat end first into the rectum, just past the sphincter muscle

Some Tips

• Use just before bedtime, but it can be used during the day also after the first bowel movement

One Detoxamin suppository is inserted every other evening prior to bedtime. It is suggested to eat a protein-rich meal with a low sugar content.

TAKE vitamins and minerals each day.

TAKE your multi vitamin supplements each day you are taking Detoxamin, except on the nights you are using Detoxamin. Taking your supplements earlier in the day on those nights will help separate your supplements and Detoxamin. Avoid using clays or charcoals while using Detoxamin. Drink plenty of water.

STORE in a dry cool place, do not freeze.

Detoxamin suppositories remain solid below 76°F, so keep them in a cool place to prevent melting. If necessary, any broken or bubbled suppositories can be melted and reformed in the fridge.

If soft, we suggest placing the Detoxamin suppository in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before use, to firm up the suppository before usage.  Use the restroom prior to using, and be  sure your hands are clean.

To open the suppository, separate one shell from the rest, then gently peel the flat plastic tabs apart to reveal the suppository inside the shell.

We recommend taking Health Genesis (or similar), our own high dose multiple vitamin, mineral and trace mineral supplement each day you are taking Detoxamin, except on the nights you are using Detoxamin. Taking your supplements earlier in the day on those nights helps separate your supplements and Detoxamin. This also applies to any medication you might be taking.

Detoxamin (CaNa₂EDTA) is a rectal, time-release suppository that binds and removes or decreases toxic heavy metal contamination. It comes in four strengths: 500 MG, 750 MG, 1000 MG and 1500 MG. Detoxamin uses Calcium Disodium EDTA, a synthetic amino acid, in a suppository form as a chelating agent in a proprietary natural base with a time-release effect. Each suppository dissolves at body temperature and gradually spreads over the lining of the lower rectum where it is absorbed into the bloodstream.

Chelation comes from the Greek word “claw,” meaning “to grab,” which is exactly what EDTA does. When a molecule of EDTA travels through the bloodstream and gets near a toxic metal such as lead or mercury, it grabs the destructive particle and binds tightly with it, pulling it out of the membrane or body tissue it was embedded in.

NO RE-DISTRIBUTION OF METALS

EDTA seizes a positively charged metal ion and surrounds it. This action inactivates the metal, then the body safely eliminates the bound compound, primarily via the kidneys. To visualize this concept, imagine pinching a marble between the thumb and forefinger, the marble being the metal ion and the thumb and forefinger being the chelating agent. 

Because EDTA has an affinity to heavy particles, it can attract and bind to heavy metals. The toxic ion and the amino acid connect and then–because the body regards the EDTA as a foreign substance, it sends it to the kidney for elimination. Both the EDTA and the heavy metals get a free ride into the toilet. 

EDTA goes in EDTA, and comes out EDTA, it is NOT metabolised or broken down, accomplishing all stages of Detoxification. EDTA has been proven to protect cell membranes, DNA and enzyme systems by reducing the destructive effects of free radicals.

PREVENT OXIDATION OF BODY TISSUES

Free radicals are reactive molecules that are unstable because they are missing an electron. In an effort to replace their lost electron, they frantically bump into and damage the molecules that make up the cells in your body. In the process, they cause oxidation of body tissues. When a free radical comes in contact with the inner lining of your arteries, microscopic injuries result. This process is called lipid peroxidation (the process that causes fats to become rancid) and is recognized as one of the underlying causes of atherosclerosis. Eventually the build-up of fat, cholesterol, toxic metals and other substances at the site of injury narrows the arteries. The key is to neutralize free radicals before they damage your arteries.

The pharmacological effects of CaNa₂EDTA are due to the formation of chelates that bind with any metal that has the ability to displace calcium from the molecule, a feature shared by lead, zinc, cadmium, manganese, iron and mercury and other metals. It is distributed primarily in the intercellular fluid with only about 5% of the plasma concentration found in spinal fluid. The half-life of EDTA is 20-60 minutes and it is excreted primarily by the kidneys within 24 hours. Almost none of the compound is metabolised.

Detoxamin suppositories are a soft solid, bulletshaped preparation designed for easy self-insertion. They dissolve at body temperature and gradually spread over the lining of the lower rectum where it is absorbed into the bloodstream within approximately 80 minutes.

The following information is based on proprietary IV EDTA comparison studies:
Detoxamin maintains long-lasting EDTA levels, over 8–hours, compared to 3 hours for a single IV EDTA treatment. A significant finding: long–lasting EDTA blood levels offer more time to efficiently chelate for slow, gentle, effective and safe chelation.

Detoxamin is 36.3 percent bioequivalent to IV chelation–medically similar to proven IV EDTA chelation.

Significant, efficient long–lasting EDTA blood levels enable more efficient heavy metal clearance.

Detoxamin saturates the tissues three–fold more deeply than does IV EDTA chelation, and has been established through pre–clinical studies. Detoxamin has a time-release effect that allows the EDTA to absorb through the colon wall while you sleep.
Almost all the blood from the rectum makes its way to the superior hemorrhoidal veins, a tributary of the portal system, so that absorption through the rectal wall carries the EDTA in Detoxamin to the portal vein. The lower and middle hemorrhoidal veins bypass the liver-and do not undergo first pass metabolism.

This means that the EDTA in Detoxamin goes directly to the organs of your body without being filtered through the liver first. Because of this, the EDTA contained in Detoxamin is very productive.

Nighttime detoxification is the most efficient, since that's when the oxidative stress load on the body is at its minimum, and the immune system's healing mechanisms are working at maximum.

The body repairs cells and releases growth hormones around 10 p.m. so it's logical to conclude that the body’s ability to receive Detoxamin's antioxidant benefits would be ideal during this period. Detoxamin could be the antioxidant of the 21st century against the new enemy, heavy metal toxicity.

The safety and efficacy of EDTA is unquestionable, backed by more than six decades of support by the FDA. Detoxamin has an impressive track record of proven success since the formula was developed in 1998.
